Teal Paws is a program focused on education and healing.

Ally dog team (al'i dawg teem) n.: A sexual assault survivor dog partnered together to Support, Love, and Heal. 100% of the proceeds from this community event will benefit Teal Paws! The event will begin at 6:30 pm on the rooftop, and there will be live music!

There will be live music, featuring the Summer Storms and John Keck!

The Summer Storms formed in 2015 by founding members Michael Ptacek (bass), Amanda O'Brien (vocals, dobro, harmonica) and Thaddeus O'Brien (vocals, guitar) in the Kansas City area. The trio has enjoyed broad-ranging inspiration from the folk, rock, jazz and blues communities and aspires to create a warm, original Americana sound that both lives in and defies the classifications of the musical genres from which it came. 

In 2018, The Summer Storms will be performing regionally and around Kansas City while working on their first release. 

John Keck is a songwriter who creates lyrics with the intent of capturing emotion and moments in time that we can travel to and experience first-hand--much like photography captures the fleeting of an instant. With one foot in the South and one in the Midwest, Johns music is a modern blend of traditional Americana and a willingness to be Undefined!
