Morning Breakout Sessions
We’ll have two sets of morning breakout sessions—one for artists and one for the community. The Artist Track will feature two 1-hour sessions specifically geared to working musicians and will be presented by working musicians. The two 1-hour Community Track sessions will be tailored to non-musicians who are interested in learning more about folk music.

Performance Lane
Performance Lane is one of the most popular features of the FARM conference. At this year’s FARMette, we are happy to offer 44 performance lane opportunities for attending performers! Each performer will get 10 minutes to show their stuff.
FARM is a regional chapter of Folk Alliance International (FAI) encompassing 15 U.S. states and Canadian provinces.

Keynote Speaker Calvin Arsenia
“Transcendent.” “Amazing.” “Wonderful.” These are just some of the words used to describe this year’s FARMette keynote speaker Calvin Arsenia. This two-time Folk Alliance International official showcase artist has travelled the world performing his brand of experimental music that is unwilling to be confined by genre.

FARM's purposes is to promote traditional, contemporary and multi-cultural folk music and dance and related performing arts in our region, hold an annual regional conference, represent the interests of our members to FAI and carry out such other projects as are of benefit to FAI members in the Midwest.
